WHY DOES ABUNDANCE MATTER?

When humans believe the future will be more abundant than the present and that the future holds promise, we make completely different choices about the present. We are at our best when we are looking towards a brighter horizon, asking ourselves questions of possibility, working together, to unlock that envisioned future.

Compare this to a politics moored in scarcity, exclusion, and decline. Under those dark clouds, we first ask how to build walls to protect our current holdings, how to control what remains, and how to exclude those we do not recognize as part of our own tribe. We believe these politics are present today across the political spectrum. We aim to build a better and more constructive politics that asks citizens to act as if they are creating what exists in the world.
